Time and time again, my instructors have told me that I need to carry a notebook around to take notes and sketch cause inspiration strikes without a moment’s notice. Today, I started my third quarter at Architecture school, and my new studio instructor said he still looks through his old sketchbooks from when he was working towards his degree.  Which leads me to three points:

1.) It reminded me that I’ve always wanted to maintain some sort of a diary-ish record.

2.) I haven’t written much since I graduated from UCSD in 2009. And it doesn’t really seem like I’ll be writing much at NSAD either.

3.) And not gonna lie, sometimes I feel like I have interesting things to write about, which probably isn’t true, but isn’t this what this network is for? I feel like this is a virtual “show and tell” right? Neato.
